Coming in pellet, mash or crumbed forms, hens need a balanced diet made up of a mix of grains (corn, oats, soybeans), grit (ground oyster shell or limestone) and vitamins (calcium).

We exclusively sell custom chook food. The Australian-made mix is locally sourced, all natural, sorghum free and contains 17% protein. We also provide:

One of the best ways to maintain the health and hygiene of your chickens is to have plenty of fresh, clean and absorbent animal bedding and floor litter in their house. We sell bedding straw and wood shavings to keep your chooks warm and dry.

Straw: Can be used in nesting boxes and as floor litter. As it is not particularly absorbent and compacts easily, it needs to be changed regularly.

Wood shavings: A good, popular and fairly cheap bedding which is absorbent and keeps your coop smelling fresh.
